Gran Canaria
Right after Tenerife and Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria with its area of 1560 square kilometres is the third-largest of the Canary Islands. Its form is nearly a circle with a diametre of almost 45 kilometres. The islands's highest point is almost 2000 metres. Just like Tenerife, Gran Canaria is a perfect destination for motorbikers. The road network is perfectly constructed. Especially the Northern part of the island is a must have for curve lovers. A wide net of mountain passes will let the motorbiker's dreams come true. An absolute must is a tour to the peak "Dedo de Dios" (Finger of God), in Puerto de las Nieves. The Northern part with its high rocky mountains is a real contrast to the world famous dunes of Las Palomas. Ferry crossings will take you to Tenerife, Lanzarote and Fuerteventura.
