Tenerife is the largest of Canary Islands. This is where canarYmoto's office is located. This has two reasons: on one hand because Tenerife is the most multi-faceted of the Canary Islands, on the other hand because of its centrality to the other Canary Islands. From Tenerife the other islands can easily be reached by ferry. The road network is well developped and the quality of the roads is (very) good.

 

On Tenerife, you might get the impression to see the core of the earth. Primeval landscapes of lava offer dream routes for motorbikers, who love to do one curve after the other. One absolute highlight is the fabulous road leading up to the Pico del Teide (3718 metres), one of the most beautiful routes for motorbikers.

A ride through the Canadas gives you the impression of being in the dessert of Arizona. If you cross the Orotava valley, you might feel to be in the Pyrenees because of its many serpentines.

All interesting spots on Tenerife can be easily reached on a one-day trip by motorbike. The trade winds of the Canary Islands guarantee a comfortable climate throughout the whole year. The few time it rains, it does not rain on the whole island.
